- Optimize use of energy in all aspects of our business
- Improve transportation efficiency
- Align operations to industry standards and best practices eg. (LEED, SmartWay)
- Identify and implement the use of renewable energy sources for both production and transportation
- Reduce process complexity
Materials Efficiency
- Expand recycling programs
- Reduce packaging size, weight and complexity
- Reduce process waste
- Standardize raw materials to reduce inventory, waste and storage requirements
- Redirect solid and liquid process waste into energy generation
Components & Chemistry
- Improve the sustainability of packaging materials using renewable resources, recycled materials where ever possible.
- Increase applicator sustainability, dispersibility and bio-degradability
- Increase plant based materials in formula chemistry
Water Impact
- Improve downstream water quality
- Reduce non-process water usage throughout operations

- Create a culture of sustainability – embedded in company vision, job descriptions, incentives, actions, and communications
